Maibock Spring Fest 2017

Maibock signals the arrival of Spring. It is brewed in the winter and released in the spring. It is the perfect beer to transition from the richer beers of the colder months to the lighter, crisper beers of the summer. We celebrate this beer with our first Maibock Spring Fest featuring six traditional German Maibocks on draught, traditional German food and live German music!

We are huge fans of ramen. Noodles with vegetables and slow cooked meats in a tasty broth make for a perfect meal. So we are featuring ramen in our Wednesday menu for March! According to author Andrew Coe in his book “Chop Suey: A Cultural History of Chinese Food in the United States“, the egg roll was invented in New York sometime in the 1930s by Chinese restaurateurs to appeal to American palates. This version of the traditional Hong Kong spring roll, gained fast popularity and is now a staple of many Chinese-American restaurants.
